Construction began in June on Hendricks Regional Health's newest project, the Northwest Expansion, a four-story, 205,664 sq. ft. addition to the hospital in Danville, Indiana. The $60 million, 20 month project is scheduled to be complete in February 2010 and will feature: a brand new, large cafeteria and kitchen for the entire hospital; 37 new patient rooms; 72,000 s.f. of operating rooms, prep, recovery and support space; and a new helicopter landing pad.
