Wurster is delighted to team with Ivy Tech Community College-Central Indiana (Ivy Tech) and Junior Achievement of Indiana (JA) to build the college's new Hospitality Expansion at JA's headquarters located on 74th Street in Indianapolis. The 34,000 s.f., 3-story addition will nearly double the student capacity of the Hospitality program by adding six kitchen/learning labs, a restaurant and bakery, classrooms and a bookstore. The most exciting feature of the expansion is the Green Roof which includes a year-round greenhouse for growing the vegetables and herbs the students will use in their classrooms. The new structure will also enable JA to expand its Camp Culinaire youth programs, provide more adult classes for those who want to sharpen their culinary skills and improve its community programs. Mack Architects is the architect for this project.
